Road Runner Mobile Amphitheater

Performance stage and 5,000 person outdoor amphitheater at the North Carolina Music Factory (NCMF).

Project Approach
The amphitheater is centrally located in the space between Mill 1 and Mill 2 and takes advantage of the existing topography. A generous 4,500 SF steel framed stage was designed as a modern focal point in contrast to the surrounding historic mill buildings. The amphitheater features 2,000 fixed seats, 200 VIP seats, and a sloped lawn for up to 2,800 people. All spectator areas are sloped or tiered to enhance viewing and to create an intimate entertainment experience.
